WorkSafeBC’s Enforcement Processes: Incident Investigations and Examples of COVID-19 and Bullying and Harassment Requirements and Inspections

January 12, 2021

AMSSA is hosting three separate days of virtual education to address WorkSafeBC specific training needs of Migrant Worker Service Providers in BC. These sessions are open to all organizations supporting migrant workers across BC.

The intent of these workshops is to increase the capacity of organizations’ providing support to migrant workers (such as guidance on workplace rights, responsibilities, and safety) through increased knowledge of WorkSafeBC processes.

Speakers from various WorkSafeBC departments will present on a number of WorkSafeBC related topics and training needs. These topics and training needs will further be divided into sessions specifically aimed towards supporting frontline staff and others being more targeted towards higher-level management.

The sessions will also serve as an opportunity to ask questions and bring input forward directly to WorkSafeBC.

The following are descriptions of topics covered in each workshop.

Workshop #3 WorkSafeBC’s Enforcement Processes: Incident Investigations and Examples of COVID-19 and Bullying and Harassment Requirements and Inspections
